Plants are Necessary

While it may not seem like it at times, plants are actually needed for human life to exist at all. Through the process of photosynthesis, which we typically learn about when we are in elementary/middle school, all of this occurs. During this process, the plants have the ability to convert the carbon dioxide, which is in the air, and exhale it as fresh oxygen, which we, as humans, can breathe. This is essentially the opposite of how we live as humans, as we breathe in the fresh oxygen, and exhale it as the carbon dioxide. This is all a cycle, which makes it possible for us to live.

While this alone is enough to determine the importance of plants, there is another thing that plants can do to make them truly one of the most precious items on the Earth; that is, that they remove the toxins from the air that we breathe.
