It’s no secret that for plants and flowers to flourish they need water and sunlight. But what about if you want to put plants in an office, the common question is if there are some better than others that can still flourish. The answer is yes! There are certain plants that grow better in an office space vs. plants that need a different environment. This way you can avoid having to keep replacing plants that aren’t meant to be in an office and can have the added benefits of being surrounded by plants.
Plants that are good in an office
- Spider Plants: These plants are great for cubicles, high shelves, or windowless offices. They will grow in partial sun and shade.
- Bromeliads: These plants do require a bit more maintenance and care in order for them to fully bloom, but once they do bloom, they require little to no care.
- Bamboo Palm: These plants are great in offices because they don’t require much care other than filling them with water, once the water gets low, you put more water in it. They also can thrive with little to no light, but will grow even higher and bigger if it is put in the light.
- Cactus: If you are someone who can’t keep a plant alive, then cacti are your best bet. They require little to no water and are resilient in most atmospheres.
- Chinese Evergreen: This plant requires very little maintenance. They are popular because they have two toned leaves which adds a pop of color to your office.
- Peace Lily: These plants would rather be in the shade than sun so they are perfect for an office. These plants are often picked for an office because they are very low maintenance and are known for cleaning up polluted air.
- Sansevieria: These plants can survive both in direct sunlight and in the shade. So if you provide irregular care to a plant, this plant will still be alive.
